I completely agree with you. I think that media sorts out the images that they want us to see especially when it comes to Islam. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a positive image of Islam on tv or in the news. The only thing they show us is Islamic terrorists, Islamic extremists, but they don’t show for example Islamic charity or something like that. I think that the media, especially now during war in Middle East, aids politicians in justifying our involvement in the war by showing us the negative images of Islam. Thus, we take for granted everything that we see and we make a general picture of Islam not just in Somalia, but anywhere.
