1. Well I was not able to be in the first two classes for some reasons, but I took the “Intro to the Qur’an” course last summer with the same proffesor and enjoyed each day in his class. So I dont have much to say about anything in class because I have not attended yet but can’t wait for class thursday!

2. So far I have enjoyed the readings about Muhammad’s life, I feel like I am learning something new about him every time I open the book. Even though I took an Islam class before I still am no expert at this so I feel interested in learning something new every day.

3.I found an issue online relating to the Islamic people today about the Syrian army. For over a year the the Syrian people wanted the violence to end, they were hoping the government and rebels would negotiate and come to an agreement to end all of that. Both sides came to an agreement to cease-fire, and the Syrian army was pulled out of a local town (Zabadani) near by the Lebanese boarder.

4. In response to wiseguy17, I see that this is your first time taking an Islamic course. Well let me be the first to tell you that you will like this class and professor alot. If you enjoy getting a different taste of culture from what you are used to then this is the perfect class for you. I also think that Muhammad is one of the most interesting people there is to learn about, all the experiences he encountered during his helpful life are amazing.
