This past week in class we continued talking about Muhammads journey to Mecca. As the story continues more and more people are starting to believe in Muhammad and what he is trying to preach. By preaching i mean he is telling his followers and everyone else “No God, But God.” The people that strongly disagree with this message are the Quresh who are out to kill Muhammad

Reading the “hadith” i know that muslims are very honorable to their religion. They believe that following the ways of the Prophet is the way to succeed into living a good and successful lifestyle.  From the readings it also talked about the Sunna and how it is more of a holy book then of the Quran. A sunna was a set of practices and beliefs of the Muslims passed on to them by the community.

I read a article earlier about how a man was insulting the Prophet Muhammad through twitter messages.  Malaysia Authorities said they will likely execute the  writer who fled Saudi Arabia after he had been told about his execution. His tweets had caused outrage in the islamic countries and he was accused of blashphemy a crime thats punishable in Saudi Arabia.

in response to  reccos14 yeah it has been over ten years since the incident and yes there should not be any racism towards any religion including the islamic religion. Just because the incident involved muslims does not mean every muslim is a bad person, every person living in America is an American citizen and they should all be treated equally.
