In class we joked around what seemed like forever, and discovered the similarities of Prof. M and Uncle Phil…uncanny. But we also talked about Muhammad and heard more stories from his past. I find it interesting the long journey it took to finally start gathering followers and seeing now how strong the religion is.

The ready assignments also go along with the strength of Islam. In reading the Hadith and all of the Cambridge readings its insane how many sources Islam follows and the validity with everything. I find it difficult to understand how there could be so many discrepancies but still so much faith in the truth.

My exposure to islam this week…well i finally tried one of those things the Muslim club sells in the life science building. Delicious! I am not a Muslim so i would.not join the group but Im curious what does the group do on a regular basis??

@voyager…I find it crazy that there is a ban for valentines day. I know its based on a Christian saint but really its a name that deals with a hallmark holiday. So is really a Christian based holiday, or are there just some people that don’t want to partake in the festivities because they don’t want to buy some flowers?
