In class we had a long debate; some people’s proposals were more logical than others.  I think the whole class is very open to what others have to say about their faith but have a very strong belief that isn’t going to be changed over one debate.  We started to watch Mooz-lum which is interesting.  [...]

In class Muhammad tried to protect his city by separating the Quraysh from his city so he taxed them if they entered.  We learned that the places were flipped when Muslims wanted to take a pilgrimage.  Instead of fighting Muhammad came with his followers unarmed which the Quraysh negotiated some steep terms.  Very biased, however [...]
